Welcome to the **TEMLOL Diagnostic Laboratory ERP & LIMS** operating guide. This manual provides step-by-step instructions for all staff roles.

## 1. Getting Started & Authentication
- **URL Access:** Navigate to your local LAN address (`http://temlollab.local`) or cloud portal (`https://temlollab.com`).
- **Default Administrator Credentials:**
  - **Email:** `admin@temlollab.com`
  - **Password:** `password`
- **MFA Security:** For Super Admins and Accountants, Multi-Factor Authentication (TOTP Google Authenticator) can be enabled via Profile Settings.

## 2. Front Desk Receptionist Workflow (Patient & Appointment Management)
1. **Registering a Walk-In Patient:**
   - Go to **Patient Management > Register Patient**.
   - Input demographics (Full Name, Gender, Age, Blood Group, Phone Number).
   - Select Insurance Provider (Self Pay, HMO Provider, or Corporate Retainer).
2. **Booking an Appointment & Issuing Queue Ticket:**
   - Navigate to **Appointment Management > Walk-In Queue**.
   - Select Patient and assign a time slot.
   - The system automatically generates a sequential **Queue Number** (e.g., Ticket #101).

## 3. POS Billing & Invoice Creation
1. **Creating a Diagnostic Bill:**
   - Go to **Billing & Payments > POS Billing Terminal**.
   - Search Patient by name or code (`PAT-2026-0001`).
   - Add tests from the catalog (e.g., CBC, Fasting Lipid Profile).
   - Apply HMO discounts or VAT (7.5%).
   - Select Payment Method: Cash, POS Terminal, Bank Transfer, or Online Gateway.
2. **Automated Accounting & Reagent Trigger:**
   - Upon confirming payment, the invoice status changes to **Paid**.
   - The system automatically triggers the **Reagent Consumption Engine** to deduct Diluents and Lysing reagents from the central store.

## 4. Laboratory Scientist & Pathologist Workflow (LIMS)
1. **Sample Collection & Result Entry:**
   - Open **Investigation Report Management**.
   - Search pending investigations by invoice number.
   - Enter raw quantitative measurements (e.g., WBC = 6.2 x10^9/L).
   - The system automatically flags abnormal values against standard reference ranges.
2. **Consultant Verification & Electronic Signature:**
   - Dr. Pathologist logs in and reviews pending results.
   - Clicking **Approve & Attach Digital Signature** seals the investigation report and enables PDF printing/email delivery.

- **Barcode / QR Scanner:** Use **Inventory > Barcode Scanner Terminal** to scan item QR codes for instant stock inquiry.
